Production
The 1980's saw the introduction of North American genetics into the herd and the dramatic increase in production. The herd is highly commercial and bred with very functional type cows. Brookbora received the Gold Award for ten consecutive years and a Platinum Award in its inaugural presentation year of 2006 and each year since.
Particular attention is paid to nutritional balance, pasture and supplement quality, effective use of fertilizer and water together with overall herd health to ensure that the maximum profit can be achieved.
